WELCOME TO HALLS THEATRE TRIPS & EXCURSIONS

I have been organising group outings for many years that started with a trip to the Christmas Panto! As the years went on, friends of friends joined us. until one year, we filled over half the seats at the Local Theatre.

We began to go on trips to places like The Deep in Hull and Sundown adventure land near Retford.  Our group continued to grow – all friends and their friends. Then, one of the gang asked if we could all book and go and see Charlie & The Chocolate Factory in London.

With no clue really, but knowing I could do it – I booked a coach and booked 50 tickets.  I had no clue of the seating system in a theatre – I only had experience of our local  Theatre. The outing was successful but, I kept looking down into the stalls and thinking that it was there I wanted to sit next time – closer to the stage and the action.

My daughter  then joined a local drama group – and I was asked to book a trip to Matilda.  I knew exactly where I wanted to sit, and by then Langtoft Coaches was up and running – so off we went!  These trips continued with ‘spare’ seats on the coach being offered out to friends and relatives!

I was able to make good relationships with Theatres and Booking Offices so that we always had good seats.

It was on a trip to see Matilda in 2016 that I was speaking to Mark Curley of Langtoft Coaches (he was driving and I sat in the front seat chatting to him as I do) – and I mentioned to him that I was thinking of starting Hall Theatre Trips and what did he think?  I was thinking of increasing our trips to 4 a year – did he think it was too much? Would I be able to manage? Could I do it right? Could I do it well?

Mark just said – Go For It – You’ll be fine! And so, Halls Theatre Trips & Excursions began…
